Tutorial

In my spare time, I tutor students who needed extra help in their studies. For almost 3 years of doing this, this year is very challenging for me.

It is because I am tutoring Physics and Trigonometry... Arrggh... subjects I hated most. But somehow, I am beginning to like it.

Film Project: 3p

"3p" is about the ROUNDTRIP of the students. The story revolves around the life of 3 high school students, trying to make their life a little easier.

New Hobby: Stained Glass

I saw this "stained-glass" kit in the store. Because I wanted to have something to do, I bought it. I thought it would be fun to do something different.

I followed the instructions. I had fun. Although I am still learning to perfect the skill, I loved the outcome.

I hope I can find more patterns and discover new techniques to make it.

New Born Child

During Christmas day 2010, there was an additional member of the family. I have a new "pamangkin" (nephew). He is very cute. I hope he will come to know me when he grows up.
There are things that I really feel hesitant to enter the monastic life. But still I have to accept all these things to be able to wholy surrender my self to HIM.

Food for Christmas

During Christmas season, I enjoy food the most. It is because it is the time of the year when my fatherprepares the delicious food. And I know for a fact that my father is a great cook. I remembered that everytimethere is a party here at home, there is usually no leftovers. It is because our visitors would eventually bring home the food that they can't eat. Their favorite is the "dinuguan" (thank God I don't eat that food).

This Christmas, we will be savoring the taste of my dad's "Hamon". This is his version of the ham we usuallybuy from the supermarket.

But of course, for some of the food we will be having, mom helped out. She is the one in charge of cookingfor our everyday meals. My dad only cooks during special occassion.
Here, she is doing the "little shrimps" mixed with flour and eggs. Then, fried.

Have a sumptous Christmas everyone.
